We had a great time going to Islamorada after we finished our prep for Hurricane Dorian, including a giant Costco run. I like one thing I heard at church during all of this...."If you were standing in lines this week, you were not prepared. Keep what you have now in preparation for the next hurricane, or something worse." Also, how great is it that we have advance warnings? We really ought to always have extra cases of water and non-perishables, enough for two weeks, at any point in the year.
Anyway, the beach was lovely and cool and windy, with the water still very warm.
